Title - Merchandising Manager
Job description:
1)Familiarize with the market attributes and understand client’s preference.
2) Lead and manage the team to achieve business objectives.
3)Direct to research and engineering to coordinate information and data on new products and systems and to direct engineering in research and design tasks.
4) Assist in building and maintaining a strong vendor network to meet customers’ expectation.
5) Collect market information and trend and recommend needs for new product development initiatives, also enhance the product sales and cost-saving.
6) Establish professional relationships and negotiate the best offer with main customers and others potential sales prospects.
7) Settle disputes between clients and vendors on claims while keeping their good business relationship.
8) Identify current problems, foresee pitfalls and advise resolution to subordinates to maintain smooth workflow.
9)Monitor and review the business performance to determine effectiveness.
10)Act as liaison between functional departments such as technical and QA departments to ensure related communications are implemented into the daily routine.
11)Perform special projects and analyses, as required.

Requirement-
1)At least 5 years of merchandising experience working in furniture business. 
2)highly skilled in the development of merchandising plans and capable of supporting strategic decisions and initiatives.
3)Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
4)Soft skills -
Strong passion and knowledge of furniture;
Flexible, proactive and hands-on, capable of working independently;
Strong work ethics and unquestionable confidentiality and integrity;
A good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem solver.
