Global Sourcing Manager
Main responsibilities
1.Develop & Implement Sourcing Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement sourcing strategies that align with business objectives and drive cost savings.
2.Supplier Management & Negotiations: Conduct thorough supplier assessments, negotiate favorable terms and agreements, and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Work with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure delivery is on time & ensure the quality will live up to the standards.
3.Global Market Analysis: Stay abreast of global market trends, commodity prices, and supplier capabilities to inform sourcing decisions.
4.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical risks, supplier instability, and quality issues.
5.Cost Savings Initiatives: Lead initiatives to optimize spend and achieve cost savings targets through supplier negotiations, market benchmarking, and process improvements.
Required Qualifications
1.Strong project management skills with the ability to drive cross-functional teams towards common goals.
2.Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.In-depth understanding of global supply chain dynamics and market trends.
3.Bachelor’s degree holder or above, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
4.Minimum 10 years of experience in global sourcing, preferably in a multinational company, specialized for American retail supermarket chain
5.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of achieving cost savings.
6.Strong negotiation skills and ability to build effective relationships with suppliers at all levels.
7.Work independently, self-motivated with positive attitude and mindset and willing to take challenge.
8.High adaptability and ability to work in cross functional capacity.Problem solving skills
9.Must Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with additional language skills a plus.
10.Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, spreadsheets, and other sourcing-related tools.
